Our Story
As avid tennis players, we realized the Farmington Valley was in need of a tennis shop. And not just a tennis shop, but one with the latest equipment and apparel. We needed a destination for providing racquet players of all levels with expert advice, personal service - and simply a place to stop in and chat about the sport. So in 2015, we happily opened Valley Racquet.

30 Years of Racquet Experience
Cristina Walters, one of our owners, also happens to be a tennis pro: how cool is that? As head pro at Shuttle Meadow CC, Cristina has been coaching tennis to a wide range of ages and skill levels for over 30 years. Not to mention, she earned her Master Racquet Technician (MRT) certificate from the US Racquet Stringers Association - one of the highest certifications a racquet sports retailer can receive.
